bandung golf trip
|
|
went to bandung last week. it's my second time there, the first time was like 25 years ago with my family. this time it was a golfing trip, so strictly golfing. there were six of us and we had a good time there.
nothing much about the town, like penang 20 years ago. bandung is famous for its numerous factory outlets, especially on clothing and textiles. they produced the products in bandung before exporting them to other big cities in indonesia, malaysia and singapore. pretty cheap and good quality. the beautiful landscape is in the outskirts, especially the famous tangkuban perahu but we didn't go there. next time, maybe.
one thing for sure, they don't have mi bandung or air bandung

life is all about moving. you move from one place to another. you move your thinking from small to big. you fell, you get up and move on. you succeed, enjoy it for a while and move on to find more success. you overcame a challenge, you move on to find more challenges. you climbed a mountain, stick the flag at the top and move on to find higher mountains. now the number has moved, happy bithday to me

good morning

|
i was on my way to work this morning and i saw this glorious sunrise. i stopped the car and pulled out my camera. used my 70-200mm lens to the maximum. initially used aperture priority but then it became too dark. i changed to manual, with speed set at 100 and aperture at 7.1, iso200.

i'm so happy!

i'm very happy as i've just purchased a nikon d50 with its standard come-with-body nikkor 18-55mm and an additional nikkor 70-200mm lens. this means i'm back to do my favourite hobby which i've shelved for the past 8 years. well, here i go
